 Restoration, Refurbishing , Refacing

An old worn down cabinet in need of some new paint.

Maybe you can't teach an old dog new tricks, but you can always give an old dresser a new face! Do you have an old china cabinet, filing cabinet, or set of dressers from years past that you can't stand to get rid of... but also can't stand to look at? Maybe we can help. Let us take a look at it and see if there's anything that the touch of a professional craftsman and a good refinishing can't fix. Often times what feels like a lost cause that belongs on the side of the road is merely a matter of a thorough sanding, re staining, and replacing the hardware. In many scenarios the case for replacing old worn out furniture is an easy one to make, and there are obvious reasons that starting fresh is often better than investing time and money into fixing up something that may be at the end of it's usefulness. However, sometimes a piece carries familial or sentimental value, or just really does the job perfectly. We would love to see if there's a way to help you hold onto that joy!

A piece can be restored to reflect it's original or most recent look and function - basically bringing the old back to life again. Refurbishing also offers another opportunity. It is often possible, and sometimes even more desirable, to take what remains of the existing cabinetry and transform it into something totally new and more modern. Giving it new life, instead of return it's old life. After a life-changing surgery and facelift, your ancient armoire may be the perfect fit for your brand new remodeled bedroom.

Want to go bigger, but not quite full-remodel big? Consider refacing the cabinets in your entire kitchen! This can drastically change and update the look of any old kitchen. It's also a perfect opportunity add some more separation space. Adding dividers or smaller cabinets-within-cabinets can help you get a handle on that overflow of cutlery and clutter.
